With their ongoing mission of Creating Caring Communities, the logo development team identified three values that the Hignell brand has embodied historically and will continue to strive towards in the future: community, excellence, and innovation. The new logo is designed to capture these three values in a well-thought-out way. There was a significant amount of time and thought that went into the design of the new logo and we’re excited to [share some of the insight into the process](https://info.hignell.com/75-year-celebration). ![Hignell - 75 Years logo](https://blog.hignellhoa.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Hignell%20-%2075%20Years%20logo%20Combo%20High%20CMYK-1.jpeg?width=792&height=330&name=Hignell%20-%2075%20Years%20logo%20Combo%20High%20CMYK-1.jpeg) ## A Brief History In 1948, Fred Hignell Jr. and his partner Floyd Strange laid the foundation for The Hignell Companies by building over 1,000 homes in 25 subdivisions, in addition to apartment and commercial projects. Doug Hignell joined his father in 1970, bringing with him new vitality and an expanded vision for the company. Over the years, The Hignell Companies have built numerous multi-family, single-family, commercial and retail properties, along with an elder care facility. With their extensive property management experience, The Hignell Companies began offering management services for Homeowner and Property Owner Association boards in the 1980s. Recent years have seen the development of [board resources](https://www.hignellhoa.com/board-resources) that are being used nationally to train and equip board members who want to move their association away from being self-managed or are ready for a change within their current management situation. As The Hignell Companies looks to the next 75 years, Hignell HOA Management is excited to continue our growth as an industry leader, taking advantage of new technologies and opportunities that will help serve our HOA clients and communities more effectively. While new opportunities bring change and growth, the deep commitment of service and caring for people that were the foundation of the company 75 years ago is still the commitment we hold today. As we continue helping HOA boards protect, maintain and enhance their associations, Creating Caring Communities is always at the forefront of all we do. ## About Hignell HOA Management Hignell HOA management provides full board management, consulting and accounting services to associations ranging in size from 25 units to 2300 units.
